Our Story

Rural Property Consultancy Ltd. was set up by Mark Juniper in 2019 to offer independent rural property consultancy services focused on unlocking value from rural assets and delivering positive change for rural business owners and operators.

Mark has worked in the rural sector for over 20 years with his early career having a practical bias with work on various farms in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire; at Badminton Estate and then for Velcourt on Estates in Kent and Dorset.

After completing studies at the University of Reading, in 2001 Mark started at Strutt & Parker’s Newbury Office assisting an established and well-respected team with the delivery of farm and estate management and consultancy services and having completed a post-graduate Diploma in Surveying while working, Mark became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2006 and a Fellow of the Association of Agricultural Valuers in 2008.

In 2011 he moved to Strutt & Parker’s Banbury office to start a new consultancy business in Oxfordshire and in 2013 he moved to the new Oxford office to head the Farm and Estate Management team and latterly the office.  When Mark left Strutt & Parker in July 2019 the office had grown to comprise Estate Agency, Farm Agency, Valuation, Planning, Development Agency, New Homes and Rural service lines with over 35 members of staff.
